Description
The B1 FOUR and B1X FOUR are bass multi-effects processors with built-in amp and cabinet models, a chromatic tuner and a rhythm section. Up to 5 effects can run at once in any order. 50 user patch slots are available. The B1 FOUR has over 60 effects and the B1X FOUR has over 70. The B1X FOUR also has a built-in expression pedal for volume, wah, delay and pitch control.
The looper records up to 30 seconds (64 beats) of CD-quality audio and supports overdubbing. It can be used with any of the 68 rhythm patterns. Two performance modes are provided: PRESELECT changes patches silently while the current sound keeps running, and STOMP switches individual effects on and off. Auto Save stores patch parameters and level settings as they are edited.
The unit has a mono input, an aux input for a music player and a combined line/headphone output. A Micro-B USB port handles firmware updates, connection to ZOOM Guitar Lab software (patch editing, management and backup) and bus power. Power options are 4 AA batteries, USB or the optional ZOOM AD-16 adapter.
