iXJ2
A small adapter that connects to an iOS device's 30-pin dock connector and adds a stereo 3.5 mm line/mic-level input, for recording or broadcasting from an iPhone, iPad or iPod. It has been discontinued.

The iXJ2 plugs into the 30-pin dock connector of an iOS device and provides two unbalanced stereo inputs on 3.5 mm mini jacks (A and B). It is intended for bringing external audio sources into an iOS device for recording or broadcasting. Power is drawn from the iOS device, at 125 mW.
The input stage accepts a nominal level from -66 dBV to -10 dBV, with a maximum input level of +6 dBV. Input impedance depends on the plug-in power setting on input A: 2.2 kΩ with it on and 10 kΩ with it off. Stated audio performance is a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response (+0/-2 dB), an S/N ratio of 90 dB or greater and THD below 0.02%.
A Mini-B USB connector is also fitted. The unit measures 59.8 x 46.7 x 16.6 mm including the connector and weighs 30 g. The listed compatible systems are iOS 5, iOS 6 and iOS 8.
