CVS 8

The CVS 8 is a ceiling-mounted loudspeaker that combines a 200 mm (8.00") mid bass driver with a 19 mm (0.75") high frequency section mounted coaxially on the same axis. It is specified for 240 W power handling, a wide frequency response and low distortion, and is aimed at music and speech reinforcement in venues such as restaurants, hotels, houses of worship and general business premises.

The front baffle is a vented, injection moulded, paintable part made from UV and weather resistant UL94V-0 ABS. The mid bass cone is mineral loaded polypropylene with a nitrile rubber surround, chosen for durability and long-term reliability.

For installation, the speaker comes with an integral zinc-plated steel back can that includes a recessed termination box. A removable locking connector with screw terminals allows secure wiring and loop-through connection to further speakers. A clamping strain relief accepts plenum rated cable or conduit, and security toggle clamps hold the unit in the ceiling. Two tile support rails and one C-ring are included. A plaster (mud) ring is available as an optional accessory.
