TimeLine is a stereo delay effects pedal built around twelve selectable delay machines: Digital, Dual, Pattern, Reverse, Ice, Duck, Swell, Trem, Filter, Lo-Fi, dTape and dBucket. The dTape and dBucket machines model sliding-head tape echo and analog bucket-brigade delays. Seven front-panel knobs cover Time, Repeats, Mix, Filter, Grit, Mod Speed and Mod Depth, and a menu-driven Value control reaches further parameters. Up to 200 presets can be saved and recalled.
A built-in 30-second stereo looper can be placed before or after the delay and offers record, overdub, play and stop from the footswitches. Through a MultiSwitch or MIDI controller it also gives reverse, half speed, undo and redo. The dry signal stays analog and is mixed with the wet signal in the analog domain. Other options include a Trails mode, a plus/minus 3 dB boost/cut, tap subdivision and a Kill Dry mode, with most of these saved per preset.
Stereo inputs and outputs sit on the rear panel, along with an expression pedal input that can also act as an external tap switch, plus MIDI in and out. A switch converts the right-hand jacks into a feedback loop send and return for an external effect. MIDI covers clock sync, preset selection, remote control of parameters and looper messages.
