Description

The MSP 312 takes an HDMI source and outputs it as DisplayPort. It handles resolutions up to 3840x2160 at 50/60 Hz with YCbCr 4:4:4 colour, and it is compatible with HDR content. The unit is HDCP 2.2 compliant, so protected sources can pass through it.

It belongs to the MSP micro converter range. Two units can be slotted together side by side, and they can also be used in the MSP Garage housing. An optional kit allows rack or wall mounting.

The converter has an HDMI input and a DisplayPort output. A specification document (version 1.2, dated 2020-02-20) is available for download from the maker.
