Description
The Contour Interface Edition is a modular deck controller with a metal housing and a touch-sensitive 11 cm jog wheel offering four modes: scratch, pitch bend, search and track selection. A deck-switch system lets a single unit control up to four virtual decks, and every button is backlit with software-driven LED feedback.
Controls are split into transport, hot cue, loop, effect and master sections. The effect area has four feedback encoders, four mini faders and four effect buttons. In total there are 47 controls across four player banks. It is tuned for Traktor Pro 2 and also works as a MIDI controller with other software, including Virtual DJ from version 7.0.4 Pro.
A built-in 24 bit/96 kHz, 10-channel USB 2.0 audio interface supports an external mixer mode, routing up to four stereo channels to a DJ mixer. It also allows standalone use with a notebook. Two headphone outputs (1/4" and 1/8") sit on the front. Connection to the computer is by USB, and Traktor LE and a USB cable are included.
