The MP2015 is a rotary mixer in a wooden-sided chassis with four deck channels plus a Submix channel that groups any number of sources and also works as a fifth input. Each deck input can be switched between phono, line-level CD and S/PDIF. Every channel has a three-band full-cut tone section with selectable crossover points of 150 Hz / 6.0 kHz or 300 Hz / 3.0 kHz.
Each channel also has a three-position sweep filter switch offering low-pass, high-pass or a combined mode, with 24 dB/octave slopes. Internal processing is 32-bit floating point, with 24-bit converters running at 44.1, 48 or 96 kHz. A FlexFX send and return loop allows an external effects unit to be patched in.
The mixer connects to a computer over USB as a class-compliant audio device on macOS (a firmware update is needed for macOS 10.12 and later) and with a supplied ASIO driver on Windows 7 and higher. It is listed as compatible with Serato DJ Pro, Traktor and Virtual DJ. Main outputs are balanced XLR, booth outputs are balanced TRS, and a Session S/PDIF input and output is provided on RCA.
