SubMix

The SubMix is a mixer module for 500 series racks that sums four audio sources into a single output. Each input has its own level control, so line-level devices, studio effects and instruments such as keyboards or drum machines can be blended together. It uses the AccuState circuit, which is described as keeping noise low at all levels.
Typical uses include bringing keyboards into a recording system, with a pair of modules handling the left and right sides of a stereo feed. It can also add extra auxiliary inputs for tape returns and stereo feeds, or serve as an effects return when several guitar pedals or line-level devices are combined.
The module is installed in a 500 series rack. A user guide and a data sheet are available for owners. The product is no longer manufactured or shipped.
