ChainDrive
The ChainDrive is a 1x4 line-level distribution amplifier in the 500 series module format. It splits one balanced or unbalanced signal to four outputs, each with its own level control, for feeding several processors, effects or amps at once. It has been discontinued.

The ChainDrive takes a single audio signal and sends it to four separate destinations at the same time. It can run balanced or unbalanced, and each of the four outputs has its own level control, so every destination can be set independently.
Typical uses include splitting a track to several dynamics processors for multiband compression, feeding multiple effects processors from one source, or acting as a guitar distribution unit that drives several amps and pedals together. Return paths can be handled with other modules from the same maker, such as the Shuttle modules and the Workhorse, and each stem can then be mixed as needed.
The module fits any 500 series rack. The product is discontinued and no longer shipping; the maker keeps a user guide and a smart sheet available for existing owners.
