Active 3-way nearfield/midfield studio monitor with two 6-inch bass drivers, a 2-inch soft-dome mid-range and a 1-inch soft-dome tweeter, each driven by its own 400W Class-D amplifier. Aimed at control rooms and immersive setups, with an upgrade path to a full-range system by adding a subwoofer.

The 6-2 is a powered three-way monitor using ATL bass loading with a 2m effective line length. Two 150mm bass drivers, a 55mm soft-dome mid-range with a waveguide and a 27mm soft-dome tweeter are driven by four 400W Class-D amplifier channels. A DSP crossover provides driver protection, EQ, delay and polarity options. Frequency response is 33Hz to 25kHz (-3dB), with a maximum continuous SPL of 109dB at 1m.
Settings are made with the rear-panel controls or through the browser-based SoundAlign web interface, which can adjust a single monitor or a group. Available processing includes level trim, a high-pass filter, delay up to 30ms, low and high shelving filters, a 5-band parametric EQ and three user presets plus factory defaults. Hexagonal vent ducts reflect the Laminair airflow design. A ceiling-mount yoke allows suspension in multichannel or immersive systems.
A single XLR input switches between analogue and AES3 digital, and an XLR digital through output and an RJ45 network port are provided. An expansion card slot is reserved for future connectivity. Adding a PMC8-2 SUB and selecting XBD mode turns the pair into a twin-cabinet system extending low frequencies down to 25Hz.
