Description

The Analog Delay is a stompbox in the NUX Reissue Series that recreates the character of 1980s analog echo units. Its signal path is fully analog and uses 3205 and 3102 bucket-brigade device (BBD) chips to produce the delay repeats, without any digital processing.

The main controls are the repeat amount and the delay time knob. Raising the repeats and adjusting the delay time lets the player move between short slapback-style echoes and longer trailing repeats. Switching is true bypass through a hardware switch, so the dry signal is left untouched when the effect is off.

The pedal has a high 1M Ohm input impedance and a 10K Ohm output impedance, and draws under 20 mA. It runs from a 9 V DC supply or a 9 V battery. The housing measures 121 x 77 x 48 mm and weighs 230 g. User manuals are published in English, Italian and Japanese.
