The R-25C is the center channel model in the Klipsch Reference range. It is intended to carry most of a film's dialogue and a large share of its soundtrack, so the design centres on speech clarity and accurate placement of sound across the front of the room.
High frequencies come from a 1" aluminum Linear Travel Suspension tweeter loaded into a horn. Two 5.25" copper-spun IMG woofers handle the lower range and are described as high-output drivers. The cabinet is finished in a brushed black polymer veneer and measures 7.25" high by 18.75" wide by 7.25" deep.
The speaker is designed to sit alongside other Reference speakers in a home theater system. A product manual covering the Reference speaker range is available from the maker.
