Ci4100QL-THX

The Ci4100QL-THX is a passive in-wall speaker carrying THX Certified Select status. It uses a Uni-Q array in which the 19 mm tweeter sits at the acoustic centre of a 100 mm mid/bass cone, so both drivers behave as a single point source with wide, even dispersion. Three further 100 mm low-frequency drivers complete the tall, narrow layout.

The Ultra Thin Bezel keeps the visible rim around the speaker as slim as possible, which gives more freedom in where it is placed. THX certification is aimed at reproducing the tonal balance of a film's final mix, with the frequency response, output and imaging expected of a conventional box speaker, while staying visually discreet in the room.

It is a 4 ohm design with 89 dB sensitivity and is suited to amplifiers rated at 10 to 150 W. Frequency response is stated as 55 Hz to 28 kHz (±6 dB) for the open-backed in-wall configuration. Mounting uses a cut-out of 476 x 114 mm with 76 mm of depth required from the surface.
