The K-15E is a compact upright acoustic piano in a continental style, built around a large solid spruce soundboard. The soundboard uses straight-grained spruce that has been selected and tested against resonance standards, and four fully laminated back posts add rigidity and help the piano hold its tuning.

The action is a direct blow design with selected hardwood hammer shanks and hammer heads made of 100% wool felt. To improve stability against temperature and humidity changes, the action rails and hammer rest rails are aluminium and the action parts are ABS, which reduces the breakage, shrinking and swelling associated with wooden components.

The piano is offered in two finishes, Ebony Polish and Mahogany Polish. It is a fully acoustic instrument, so it has no electronic connectivity, and its small footprint suits family homes and entry-level buyers.
