The VR2-10810 is a passive 2-way mid/high speaker in a bass reflex cabinet. It combines a 1 x 8" Celestion cone driver with a 1 x 1" Celestion neodymium compression driver, split at 1.1 kHz with 12 dB/oct. high-pass and low-pass filters. It handles 100 W RMS, 200 W program and 400 W peak, reaches 118 dB peak SPL and covers 90 Hz - 16 kHz (-6 dB).
Three horn variants (60° x 40°, 90° x 55° or asymmetrical 60-90° x 55°) let the coverage be matched to the room, and each can be rotated by 90°. The cabinet is coated inside and outside, has a steel front grille with an anticorrosive coating and acoustic fabric, and comes in black, white or a catalogue special colour. It is certified to EN 54-24 (type B, outdoor use) for voice alarm and to DIN 18032-3 for ball impact. IP 33 C is standard, with an optional IP 55 version.
Connection is by screw terminals for input and parallel output, with a contact protection cover. Rigging uses M10 threaded points on the sides, lid, bottom and back, and a range of wall, tilt, U-bracket and cluster-plate accessories is available. DSP presets and filter data are published for Lab.gruppen, Lake, Powersoft, QSC Q-SYS and others.
