The CC281.2 is the center channel of the Solano 2.0 range. It is a 2½-way bass-reflex design with two 150 mm aluminum sandwich (AS) woofers and the latest-generation JET 6 tweeter, covering 34 Hz to 50 kHz. The crossover points are 450 Hz and 2400 Hz, and the aim is clear dialogue and a tonal balance that matches the other Solano speakers.
The cabinet is softly curved and finished in high gloss, available in black or white. At 190 x 500 x 248 mm and 12.0 kg it is a compact horizontal speaker for placing with a screen or in a living room. Sensitivity is 87.5 dB at 2.83 V/m, and it is rated for 4 to 8 ohm amplifiers delivering 40 to 250 W per channel.
