Technics EAH-A1000 – Flagship sound, all-day comfort
The EAH-A1000 is the over-ear Technics built for listeners who want to hear how a record was mixed, not how a headphone thinks it should sound. A new 40 mm Magnetic Fluid Driver, borrowed from the award-winning EAH-AZ100 earbuds and scaled up, keeps bass controlled and the stage wide.
Key Features
- 40 mm Magnetic Fluid Driver: Fluid around the voice coil keeps the diaphragm centred, so distortion stays low at every volume.
- SST Edge and carbon fibre cone: A surround taken from Technics flagship speakers plus a rigid, light diaphragm for fast, clean transients.
- Adaptive Noise Cancelling: Four microphones per side read the room and your fit, then tune cancellation in real time.
- LDAC, LE Audio and USB Audio: Hi-res wireless, low-latency LC3, or a lossless USB-C connection when you sit at the laptop.
- 3-device multipoint: Phone, tablet and computer stay paired at once, with switching handled for you.
- 45-hour battery: A full week of commuting with ANC on, and 15 minutes of charging gives about 4 hours.
Customer Benefits
Most flagship noise cancellers trade some musical scale for silence. The EAH-A1000 goes the other way: a flat baffle and a tuned chamber behind the driver keep reflections down, so instruments sit in clear places and the low end has weight without swelling into the mids. The new Flow Arm and memory foam pads spread pressure evenly, which matters on a long flight. When you are home, plug in over USB-C and the same pair becomes a lossless desk headphone.
