OWC Thunderbolt 5 Dual 10GbE Network Dock – Shared Storage at Full Speed

Post houses and busy studios live on shared storage, and a single gigabit port turns every file pull into a coffee break. The OWC Thunderbolt 5 Dual 10GbE Network Dock adds two independent 10GbE ports and a third 2.5GbE port to any Thunderbolt 5 or USB4 computer, together with three Thunderbolt 5 ports and four USB ports.

Key Features

• Two independent 10GbE ports: Separate NICs for two networks, or link aggregation up to 20Gb/s to one switch.
• Third 2.5GbE port: Keep the office or internet network apart from the storage network.
• Three downstream Thunderbolt 5 ports: Up to 80Gb/s for SSD and RAID storage, 15 W each, and up to three 8K 60 Hz displays on Thunderbolt 5 hosts.
• Four USB ports: One USB-C 10Gb/s and three USB-A 10Gb/s.
• Fanless aluminum build: Silent in the edit room, with security slot and power-cable clamp.

Customer Benefits

A laptop can join a 10GbE storage network, stay on a separate office network and still drive displays and local RAIDs, all through one Thunderbolt 5 cable. Two NICs mean real redundancy or real throughput, depending on how your switch is set up. It picked up Best of Show at IBC 2025, which tells you who it was built with in mind.

Pros & Cons

✅ Pros:

• Three independent network ports, two of them 10GbE
• Link aggregation up to 20Gb/s
• Three full-speed Thunderbolt 5 ports for storage and displays

⚠️ Cons:

• Does not charge the laptop, so keep your own charger connected
• No card reader, audio jack or HDMI
• Windows and Linux need extra network drivers

If your bottleneck is the network rather than the number of ports, this is the dock in OWC's range that fixes it.
