Numark Party Mix III – 2-Deck DJ Controller with Stems and Beat-Synced Lighting

The Party Mix III is Numark's entry-level DJ controller reworked for 2026: double the performance pads of its predecessor, dedicated Stems control, and a Fade FX crossfader effect, all bus-powered from a laptop, tablet or phone.

Key Features

• 16 performance pads (8 per deck): Hot Cue, Auto Loop, Sampler, Stems, Pad FX and Beat Jump modes on responsive, backlit pads
• Dedicated Stems control: Instrumental and Acapella buttons isolate vocals or instrumentals from any track in real time
• Fade FX: automatic FX and EQ movement tied to the crossfader for instant, hands-free transitions
• Beat-synced RGB light show: built into the mixer section, syncing to the track's tempo
• Capacitive jog wheels with Beat Align: visual cue for lining up tracks by eye
• 3-band EQ and Filter on each channel, plus a central Browse knob for quick track selection
• Built-in sound card: 24-bit / 48 kHz audio with headphone prelistening
• USB-C bus-powered: runs from a laptop, tablet, phone, power bank or USB adapter — no separate power supply needed
• Bluetooth 4.2+ (BLE) connectivity

Use Cases / Ideal For

Built for first-time DJs practicing at home, house parties, and anyone who wants to mix straight from a phone or tablet without carrying a laptop. The beat-synced light show and built-in party tricks (Stems, Fade FX) make it equally at home as a gift for a beginner or a lightweight backup controller.

Compatibility

Works with Serato DJ Lite (included, free 2-deck control) and is upgradeable to Serato DJ Pro. Also compatible with Algoriddim djay and djay Pro (both included) and VirtualDJ (additional license). No standalone mode — always requires a connected laptop, tablet or phone.

Pros & Cons

✅ Pros:

• Doubles the performance pads of the previous Party Mix generation
• Stems and Fade FX bring pro-style tricks to an entry-level price point
• USB-C bus power runs from a phone, tablet, power bank or laptop
• Serato DJ Lite and djay licenses included, so there's nothing extra to buy to start mixing

⚠️ Cons:

• No standalone mode — always needs a connected device
• No XLR/RCA outputs for larger PA setups (headphone/aux output only)

The Numark Party Mix III packs Stems, Fade FX, and a beat-synced light show into a compact, bus-powered controller built for a first DJ set, not a compromise on the way to one.
