Cambridge Audio Evo 300 – 300 W Streaming Amplifier with HDMI eARC, Phono & ESS Sabre DAC

The Cambridge Audio Evo 300 is the most powerful all-in-one streaming amplifier the brand has built, made for hi-fi listeners who want to drive demanding speakers from a single box instead of a rack of separates. Streamer, ESS Sabre DAC, moving-magnet phono stage and a 2 × 300 W amplifier share one aluminium chassis, leaving only the music on the shelf.

Key Features

• Hypex NCOREx Class-D amplification: 2 × 300 W into 8 Ω and 2 × 550 W into 4 Ω, with the headroom to control hard-to-drive speakers
• Dual-mono layout with balanced pre-amplifier: Keeps the channels apart for tighter imaging and cleaner separation
• ESS Sabre ES9038Q2M DAC: High-resolution playback up to 32-bit/768 kHz PCM and DSD512
• StreamMagic streaming platform: Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Amazon Music, Deezer, Roon Ready, AirPlay 2, Chromecast, UPnP and Internet Radio
• Built-in moving-magnet phono stage: Connect a turntable directly, without a separate preamp
• HDMI eARC: Single-cable hook-up to your TV for film and everyday viewing
• 7.8-inch colour display: Cambridge Audio's largest yet, with album art, VU meters and clock views
• Bluetooth 5.4 with aptX HD and interchangeable side panels: Wireless hi-res streaming and a look you can tailor to the room

Customer Benefits

The Evo 300 folds a full separates system into one unit without giving up the power. With 550 W per channel into 4 Ω it has the muscle to run speakers that normally call for a dedicated power amp, while the dual-mono design and balanced pre-amp stage hold the stereo image steady. Stream from almost any service, play vinyl straight through the phono input, or bring your TV in over HDMI eARC, all controlled from the big colour screen or the StreamMagic app.
