The Elfin Flip Plus is a compact full-HD projector built around a 0.23-inch DLP chip and an LED light source. It is rated at 500 ISO lumens with a 4000:1 contrast ratio (EBL on), covers 121% of Rec.709, and supports HDR10. The picture can be projected up to 200 inches, though a size of 80 to 150 inches is recommended for best quality.
Setup is largely automatic. Uninterrupted auto keystone correction and auto focus keep the image square and sharp, while Intelligent Screen Adaption (ISA) fits the picture to the surface. Eye protection dims the beam when someone steps in front of the lens. A built-in stand rotates 150°, has a carry handle, and folds down to cover the lens.
The projector runs Google TV with licensed Netflix and access to the Google Play Store. It has two 3 W speakers with Dolby Audio, Wi-Fi 5 dual-band, Bluetooth 5.1, one HDMI (ARC) input and one USB port. It is powered through a DC input and the maker states up to four years of over-the-air software support.
