The Elfin Flip 4K is a small DLP projector with a 0.39'' DMD chip and a native 3840 x 2160 image. Its RGB triple laser source is rated at 1600 ISO lumens and a 20,000:1 contrast ratio (with DBLE on), covering 110% of BT.2020. HDR10 and HLG are supported, along with MEMC motion smoothing. The optical zoom (throw ratio 0.98–1.3:1) produces images from 40 to 200 inches, with 60–150 inches recommended for the best result.
Setup is largely automatic: auto focus, uninterrupted auto keystone correction, screen alignment, obstacle avoidance and wall colour adaption are all included. Front, rear, front-ceiling and rear-ceiling projection are supported. For gaming, input lag is 1 ms at 1080p/120 Hz in game mode, with VRR and ALLM. It weighs 1.55 kg and measures 254 × 245 × 78 mm.
Google TV is built in, with 2 GB RAM, 64 GB storage, Google Cast and DLNA mirroring, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. Sound comes from a single 7 W Harman/Kardon speaker with Dolby Audio decoding. The projector has two HDMI inputs (HDMI 1 supports eARC), two USB 2.0 ports and an audio output.
