The TD 402 DD is a plug-and-play turntable built around a direct-drive motor that holds speed steadily and runs quietly. Auto Start and Auto Stop handle the lift-off and return at the end of a record, so the deck needs little attention during playback.
A phono preamplifier is built in, which lets the turntable connect to existing audio systems straight out of the box. It can be switched off when an external phono preamplifier is preferred. The TP 72 tonearm uses a carbon tube for high rigidity at low mass, and it carries an Audio-Technica AT-VM95E cartridge mounted in a detachable headshell, so the cartridge or the whole headshell can be exchanged later.
An acrylic dust cover and an external power supply are supplied with the turntable. A datasheet and a user manual are available for download from the maker.
