TD 124 DD Exclusive

The TD 124 DD Exclusive is a high-end edition of the TD 124 DD direct-drive turntable, developed further from the 140th Anniversary Edition. It uses the same direct-drive motor, here fed by the supplied external TPN 124 linear power supply for a clean, stable supply.

The new 12-inch TP 124 tonearm has a longer effective length, which lowers the tracking error angle and so distortion. Its internal cabling is pure silver. A pure copper platter support is fitted to improve the coupling between platter and record and to reduce resonances.

The EMT Tontechnik cartridge from Switzerland is styled after the radio-industry 'Tondose' and tuned for the 12-inch arm. It has a ruby cantilever, a Gyger needle cut and pure gold coil wire, and mounts via an SME connector. Output is via gold-plated RCA sockets or balanced XLR outputs, so the deck suits a wide range of hi-fi setups.
