Level Pilot X

LEVEL PILOT X is a passive, analog stereo volume control that sits after the audio interface or other line-level source. Because attenuation happens after digital-to-analog conversion, the converter keeps its full resolution, unlike the digital output attenuation found in many interfaces and digital mixers. It works independently of the computer and needs no power supply.

The level is set with a Bourns potentiometer. The signal path has no buffers, batteries or transistors, which keeps noise low. The housing is brushed aluminum with a rubberized base plate so the unit stays put on a desk.

Connection is through fully balanced XLR connectors, and the unit works with both balanced and unbalanced setups. A quad-core, fully balanced extension cable is included to keep left-right tracking consistent and reduce cable clutter on the desk.
