Opis
The GS Mini-e Mahogany is a scaled-down steel-string acoustic-electric guitar. It combines a solid mahogany top with layered sapele back and sides, a combination aimed at a pronounced midrange and enough projection for practice, informal jams and small stage use. The non-cutaway body is finished in matte, and the neck is tropical mahogany with a West African Crelicam ebony fretboard and bridge.
Amplification comes from the ES-B system: a pickup and preamp pairing with a built-in chromatic tuner. The pickup sits behind the saddle and the preamp, with a 3-band EQ, is mounted on the side of the guitar. The guitar is strung with D'Addario XS coated phosphor bronze medium strings (.013-.056), and the nut and saddle are Nubone and Micarta respectively.
A structured gig bag is included. The guitar is available in right-handed and left-handed orientations, and is built in the maker's Tecate, Mexico factory. A short scale and compact body make it easier to handle for players with small hands or limited reach.
