Deskrizzjoni
The 214ce-K is a cutaway Grand Auditorium guitar from Taylor's 200 Series. It pairs a solid torrefied spruce top with layered, two-piece Hawaiian koa back and sides. The roasting treatment adds warmth to the top, and C-Class bracing is used to increase volume, sustain and low-end response.
The neck is Neo-Tropical mahogany with a West African Crelicam ebony fretboard and bridge, a standard carve, a 25-1/2" scale and a 1-11/16" nut width. Finish is matte on the top, back, sides, neck and peghead. Fittings include a white NuBone nut, a white Micarta saddle, die-cast chrome tuners and a tortoise pickguard. It is strung with D'Addario XS coated phosphor bronze lights (.012-.053).
For amplified use it has Expression System 2 electronics, which use a behind-the-saddle design. A structured gig bag is included. A left-handed version is available by special order through dealers. The guitar is made in Taylor's Tecate, Mexico factory.
