A 1U rackmount USB 2.0 audio interface with six analog inputs (four XLR mic inputs, two combined guitar/line inputs) and two balanced outputs. Aimed at multichannel recording of acoustic instruments, piano and guitars; the model is discontinued.

The US-1200 records six analog channels at once and returns two channels of playback over USB 2.0, at up to 24-bit/96 kHz. Inputs 1-4 are XLR mic inputs with HDDA preamps and +48V phantom power, so dynamic and condenser microphones can be used. Inputs 5/6 are 1/4" jacks that accept either balanced line signals or high-impedance guitar and bass directly, selected by a GUITAR/LINE IN switch.
Monitoring is handled by an on-board DSP mixer with two operating modes, which allows low-latency monitoring without routing through the computer. Built-in DSP effects are available when running at 44.1 or 48 kHz. Outputs are a pair of balanced TRS monitor outputs and a 1/4" headphone output.
The unit connects to a computer via a USB B port and is powered by a dedicated AC adapter. Drivers are not supplied on disc and are downloaded from the maker's site; ASIO 2.0 and WDM are used on Windows and Core Audio on Mac. Bundled software is SONAR X3 LE (Windows only) and Ableton Live Lite.
