SX-1LE Plus

The SX-1LE Plus brings recording, mixing and sequencing together in one console. The recorder is a 16-track, 24-bit hard disk unit with up to 999 virtual tracks, unlimited undo and dedicated stereo and surround mixdown tracks. The mixer section has 40 channels with touch-sensitive 100mm moving faders, full automation, and per-channel 3-band parametric EQ and dynamics. Channels can be routed to 8 busses or the stereo outputs, and four stereo effects returns serve the built-in real-time DSP effects, including Antares mic modeling and TC Works reverb.

A 128-track MIDI sequencer with piano roll and event editing is built in, along with a 2x4 MIDI interface. Audio is stored as standard Broadcast WAV files on a FAT-32 formatted internal 40GB drive, and a built-in CD-RW drive handles audio CD burning and backups. A supplied mouse and keyboard, the LCD and an external VGA monitor output provide the editing interface.

Connectivity includes 16 mic/line inputs with inserts and phantom power, ADAT Lightpipe and coaxial S/PDIF digital I/O, and three option card slots that use DM-24 I/O cards. Sync options include SMPTE generate and chase, MTC, word sync and video sync.
