The LR-10 is a desktop practice recorder that stores audio on SD/SDHC cards. It can slow down or speed up playback of MP3 and WAV files while keeping the original pitch, and loop playback is set with dedicated buttons, which helps with transcribing parts and learning songs.
It records 44.1 kHz / 16-bit WAV files using a built-in stereo microphone, and overdub recording lets a player layer parts on top of existing material to build an arrangement. A built-in speaker allows playback without extra equipment. A chromatic tuner and a metronome are included, and dedicated keys with a large LCD display handle operation.
Files are moved to a computer over a USB 2.0 jack. A footswitch input accepts the optional Tascam RC-3F 3-button footswitch for hands-free control. The unit has an angled desktop design and ships with a 2GB SD card, AA batteries and a USB cable. The model is listed as discontinued by the maker.
