The GA-100CD combines a two-channel guitar amplifier with a CD player designed for practice. The amplifier section delivers 60 watts RMS through a 12-inch custom-voiced speaker. Each channel (clean and overdrive) has its own gain, volume and 3-band tone controls, and a master volume sits above them. A solid-state FET circuit, branded Neo Tube, is used to give a tube-like response.
The CD trainer lets the player change tempo without changing pitch, set up a seamless loop, and use guitar cancel to remove the guitar part from a recording. Stereo CD playback runs at 20 + 20 watts through two 5-inch speakers. Built-in DSP effects cover delay, chorus, phase, flanger, tremolo, vibrato and reverb.
For connections, the amp has an effects send/return and RCA line input and output carrying a mix of the amp and CD sections. Channel selection and effects can be switched with a footswitch.
