DR-100MKIII
Portable two-channel linear PCM recorder that captures WAV (BWF) up to 192 kHz/24-bit or MP3 to SD, SDHC and SDXC cards. Aimed at audio engineers and sound designers who need field recording with XLR/TRS inputs, phantom power and a long-running built-in battery. The model has been discontinued.

The DR-100MKIII records stereo audio to SD, SDHC or SDXC cards (up to 128GB) in WAV (BWF) at sampling rates from 44.1kHz to 192kHz and 16 or 24 bit, or in MP3 at 44.1kHz/48kHz and 128 to 320kbps. Playback speed can be changed from -50% to +200% in 1% steps.
The front end has a combo XLR/6.3mm TRS input with phantom power support, a 3.5mm external input that can supply plug-in power, and a 3.5mm digital input accepting AES3 and S/PDIF. Compared with the DR-100MKII it adds a 1ppm TCXO clock, a 128x128 display, a low cut filter reaching 220Hz, peak reduction, Dual Rec, Dual Format, Power-on Rec, XRI support and a slate tone generator.
Outputs are a 3.5mm line output and a 3.5mm headphone jack rated 40mW+40mW, plus a 0.4W mono speaker. A Micro-B USB 2.0 port works as mass storage, and a 2.5mm TRS remote jack takes the RC-10 or RC-3F. Power comes from a built-in lithium-ion battery, two AA cells, USB bus power or an optional AC adapter or external battery pack.
