Stereo high-definition master recorder in a 1U rack case that records PCM up to 192kHz/24-bit and DSD to SD or CF cards. It also serves as an AD/DA converter and monitoring unit for studios, mastering chains and PA digital consoles.

The DA-3000 records a stereo signal, or two mono files, to SD/SDHC/SDXC or CompactFlash media. PCM is written as BWF at 44.1 to 192kHz and 16 or 24 bit, and DSD is written as DSDIFF or DSF at 2.8224 or 5.6448MHz. WAV files can be played back, and a sample-rate converter on the digital input accepts 32 to 216kHz.
The unit can act as a converter as well as a recorder. It can sit at the end of an analog mastering chain as an AD converter, serve as a DA converter and monitor controller for a DAW or digital console, or capture a high-rate PCM/DSD copy alongside a DAW recording. Several units can be cascaded over the coaxial connectors for DSD multitrack work. The circuitry is fully balanced with dual-mono channels, a 1ppm TCXO clock and a fanless design, and the front panel has an OEL display and 24-dot LED meters.
Connections cover balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA analog, AES/EBU, S/PDIF and SDIF-3/DSD-raw digital, BNC word sync in and out, a headphone jack, and two USB ports (a flash drive for copying and a keyboard for control). It ships with an RC-10 wireless remote. This model has been discontinued.
