The CD-VT1 is a portable CD player designed for practice and learning. It plays standard CDs, 3-inch mini-CDs and finalized CD-R/RW discs. Slow Speed Audition reduces tempo by 8%, 16%, 32% or 50% while keeping pitch unchanged. Pitch and tempo can also be shifted in 1% steps, and the key can be changed by ±6 semitones and ±50 cents without affecting tempo.
Two 1/4" microphone inputs allow singing along with a track, in a duet or karaoke style. The microphone signal can be processed with reverb, echo and chorus, and a voice changer shifts the pitch of the miked signal. A vocal cancel function removes the vocal from CD playback. Seamless looping, a Cue button that returns to the last playback starting point, a built-in 11-segment chromatic tuner and a multifunction LCD support learning songs.
A headphone output and a line output allow performances to be recorded to CD or computer, or used in band practice. A footswitch input can control cue start or effects switching. The unit runs on 4 AA batteries or an optional AC adapter.
