The CD-BT1 is a battery-powered CD player designed for bass guitar practice. It plays standard CDs, 3-inch mini-CDs and finalized CD-R/RW discs. Slow Speed Audition reduces tempo to 92%, 84%, 68% or half speed without altering pitch, while tempo can also be shifted in 1% steps down to 50%. Key can be changed by up to ±6 semitones and ±50 cents without affecting tempo.
A 1/4" bass input, switchable between active and passive pickups, lets the player jam along with the disc. The unit offers 19 effect programs, including compression, chorus, distortion, wah and synth bass, plus a 5-band graphic EQ with adjustable mid shape for the bass input. For CD playback, Bass Boost, Bass Enhance and Bass Cut are provided. An 11-segment chromatic tuner is built in, and a Cue button returns to the last playback starting point.
Outputs include a high-power headphone output, and a footswitch input handles Cue start or effects switching. Power comes from 4 AA batteries or an optional AC adapter. This model has been discontinued.
