The CD-01U PRO is the professional version of a two-model line of single-rackspace CD players. It plays CD-R/RW discs in 12 cm and 8 cm sizes as well as MP3 files, using a slot-loading transport. A 20-second RAM buffer provides shock protection.
Playback tools include repeat, single-play and program modes, ±12.5% pitch control, and a Key Original mode that changes speed without altering pitch. Further functions are a Call function that returns to the last play start point, Auto Ready, Auto Cue, fade in and out of up to 10 seconds in half-second steps, and an eject block function.
Outputs comprise RCA unbalanced analog and S/PDIF optical digital, with the Pro adding XLR balanced analog and XLR AES/EBU digital outputs. Control is possible by wireless remote, serial RS-232C (for AMX and Crestron programming) and, on the Pro, parallel control over a 15-pin D-sub. The unit measures 482.6 x 50 x 333.9 mm and weighs 3.7 kg.
