The SAT 3 is a small satellite loudspeaker for commercial installations where music needs to be present without drawing attention. It uses a lightweight 2.5-inch full-range driver and is finished in semi-matt black so it blends into most interiors.
The speaker has wide, constant-directivity dispersion to give even coverage across a room. A pan/tilt bracket for wall or ceiling mounting is supplied, which allows the speaker to be aimed after it is fixed in place.
It is intended to be used with the Tannoy Sat Sub Slimline 6.5-inch subwoofer. That subwoofer has an integrated crossover and terminals for connecting the satellite speakers, so the pair can be wired together as a compact system for background and foreground music.
