QFlex 16-WP
The QFLEX 16-WP is a powered, digitally steerable column array loudspeaker with 16 individually amplified drivers and built-in DSP, rated IP54 for dust and moisture. It suits installed sound systems in difficult acoustic spaces such as worship venues, transport hubs, pools and convention centres.

The QFLEX 16-WP combines eight 3" low-frequency drivers and eight 1" high-frequency drivers in one weather-protected column. Every driver has its own 100 W Class D amplifier and DSP channel. BeamEngine software lets a designer define target areas, and it then calculates a steering pattern for that space. This can steer sound away from reflective surfaces and keep levels similar in the near and far field. Steering reaches ±70°, with coverage up to 25 m (82') and no aliasing artefacts.
The enclosure is corrosion-resistant aluminium with a perforated grille in semi matt white paint, and it carries IP54 certification for water and dust ingress. Telemetry functions make it PA/VA compliant for life safety and mass notification use. Custom mounting hardware is included.
Units connect over the VNET network using RJ45 connectors and CAT5 cable, and each speaker has a unique address for automatic location on the network. It can run alone or in multi-column setups with other VNET-enabled Tannoy products. Optional accessories include Ethernet, USB RS232 and AES interfaces, a rack mount, a power supply, the Sentinel SM1 monitor and the QFLEX Isolator.
