PCI 8DC
The PCI 8DC is an 8-inch Dual Concentric in-ceiling loudspeaker with a 200 mm Kevlar-cone driver and a thin-bezel design. It suits music and film listening in medium and large rooms, in stereo, surround and multi-room installations.

The PCI 8DC is the largest two-way model in Tannoy's PCI in-ceiling range. It uses a single 200 mm (8.00") LF/MF driver with a blue Kevlar cone and a high-excursion rubber surround, with the HF drive mounted at its centre. This Dual Concentric arrangement is described as a point source with time-coherent behaviour and wide, even dispersion. The driver handles up to 320 watts and is described as easy to drive.
A Tulip Waveguide with symmetrical dispersion shapes the high-frequency output for a broad soundstage and focused stereo imaging. The model is intended for medium and large rooms and has more dynamics and low-frequency extension than the smaller models in the range. It is suited to music and movies, stereo, surround sound and multi-room systems.
For installation, the speaker is a single integrated unit with a rigid diecast chassis and a self-aligning clamping system. The bezel is extremely thin. The perforated, powder-coated, UV-resistant steel mesh grille protects against dust and can be removed and painted to match the room's decor.
