DVS 801
The DVS 801 is an 8-inch coaxial two-way surface-mount loudspeaker with a built-in transformer, intended for background and foreground music and speech systems in restaurants, hotels, worship spaces and other commercial installations. It carries fire-system certifications and an IP64 rating.

The DVS 801 is a passive two-way coaxial speaker built around a 200 mm (8") polypropylene full-range driver with a 1.0" ferrofluid-cooled soft-dome high-frequency driver. Both sit in a UV- and weather-resistant UL 94-V0 ABS enclosure with an aluminium mesh grille. It is aimed at fixed installations where both music and speech need to be reproduced clearly, such as restaurants, hotels, houses of worship and businesses.
The enclosure is rated IP64, so the speaker can be used indoors in damp or dusty places such as swimming pool areas, and outdoors where the weather is moderate. It is certified to EN 54-24 for fire detection and fire alarm systems and to UL 1480 for fire-protected signalling. Power handling is 60 W continuous and 240 W peak, with a sensitivity of 88 dB (1 W @ 1 m) and a maximum SPL of 106 dB.
Input and link output use Phoenix-type connectors. A colour-matched steel mounting bracket is included, with finger-adjustable hardware on the top and bottom of the enclosure for quick fitting.
