Compact two-way coaxial surface-mount speaker with a 6.5" low-frequency driver and a 0.79" soft dome tweeter, with a built-in transformer. Intended for background and foreground music in restaurants, hotels, houses of worship and other commercial installations, indoors or outdoors.

The DVS 601 is a passive two-way coaxial loudspeaker in a moulded ABS enclosure. A 165 mm polypropylene full-range driver with a paper cone and butyl rubber surround is paired with a ferrofluid-cooled soft dome high-frequency driver. An aluminium mesh grille protects the drivers from dust.
The enclosure is rated IP64 and made from UV and weather resistant UL 94-V0 ABS, so it can be used in indoor swimming pools, health suites and dusty or damp work areas, as well as outdoors where weather is moderate. It is certified to EN 54-24 for fire detection and fire alarm systems and to UL 1480 for fire-protected signalling.
The speaker mounts on the surface using the supplied colour-matched steel bracket, with finger-adjustable hardware at the top and bottom of the enclosure. Input and link output connections are made through Phoenix connectors.
