The CMS 801 SUB BM is a ceiling subwoofer built around an 8-inch long-excursion low-frequency driver and a 400 W power rating. It is intended to extend the bass response of installations that already use CMS ceiling monitor systems, for both music and speech reinforcement. The unit carries UL certification.
For installation, it uses a self-aligning 5-way clamp system. The back can is zinc-plated steel and acoustically enhanced. It has a removable locking screw terminal connector with loop-through, so several units can be daisy-chained. A low-insertion-loss 60 W transformer is fitted, with tap switching from the front panel. The paintable powder-coated steel mesh grille includes dust protection. Two tile support rails and one C-ring are supplied. A plaster (mud) ring can be bought separately.
The finish is semi-matt white. The speaker is optimised for use with LAB GRUPPEN amplifiers.
