AMS 8DC

The AMS 8DC is a full-bandwidth installation loudspeaker built around a proprietary 8" dual concentric point-source driver with Omnimagnet technology, mounted on a Torus Ogive Waveguide. The design aims for wide, consistent directivity and clear speech, with a linear response derived from the maker's studio monitors. It is rated at 360 W and is intended for stereo or mono music playback in multi-zone venues, where it can sit alongside ceiling and wall-mounted loudspeakers from the same range.

The moulded ABS enclosure is heat resistant, finished in semi-matt black and supplied with a grille. An IP65 rating allows use in damp or dusty indoor spaces such as swimming pools and health suites, and in outdoor locations with moderate weather. A colour-matched yoke bracket is included for mounting, and an optional VARIBALL multi-angle bracket is sold separately.

Connections are made through Phoenix input and link output terminals, protected by an included weatherproof cable gland. An integral low-insertion-loss 60 W transformer has tap switching. The speaker is optimised for LAB GRUPPEN LUCIA amplifiers, which can drive up to 8 AMS Series loudspeakers per channel.
