Mobius is a stompbox-format modulation processor built around a SHARC DSP. It offers twelve modulation machines: Chorus, Flanger, Rotary, Vibe, Phaser, Filter, Formant, Vintage Trem, Pattern Trem, Autoswell, Destroyer and Quadrature. Each has several modes and its own set of adjustable parameters, reached through five front-panel knobs (Speed, Depth, Level and two assignable Param knobs) and a menu-driven value control.
Up to 200 named presets can be saved and recalled, and banked through with the footswitches. An LED display shows preset name, bank number, BPM or parameter values. Three metal footswitches handle bypass and tap tempo, with selectable tap subdivision. An expression pedal input can control any knob or combination of knobs, or serve as an external tap switch. A Pre/Post mode lets the unit sit in two different places in a mono signal chain without rewiring.
Connections are stereo 1/4-inch style ins and outs, MIDI In and Out, an expression pedal jack and a 9V DC power input. MIDI supports LFO clock sync, remote control of knobs and switches, and preset selection. Bypass is either true bypass via relay or a selectable analog buffered bypass. Converters are 24-bit/96kHz with 32-bit floating point processing.
