Canoga

Canoga is a fully analog fuzz pedal built around a tweaked vintage silicon Fuzz Face-style circuit. It has two controls: Drive, which ranges from light edge-of-breakup through crunch to heavily saturated fuzz, and Level, which sets output volume and can give a substantial boost for leads or for pushing other pedals and an amp harder.

The input is unbuffered and low impedance, and the output is high impedance, so the pedal reacts to the guitar's pickups and volume control the way classic fuzz pedals do. Rolling back the guitar volume gives semi-clean tones that keep a clear top end without turning muddy. It works best first in the signal chain and into an amp that already has some grit. An internal jumper sets whether the pedal powers up engaged or bypassed.

Canoga is part of the Series A range of pure analog pedals, with no MIDI, USB, firmware or digital processing. It has mono input and output jacks, a true bypass footswitch with an amber LED, and runs from an external 9V DC center-negative supply (not included).
