TCA Tour is a desktop-format control frame built entirely from System T components. It combines 16 faders with onboard I/O, headphone monitoring and a network switch, and it ships pre-wired. A custom adjustable mount holds a small PC running the Tempest Control App and a touchscreen. The frame is offered in two versions: DFT, and DFT+, which adds an OLED display and individual metering for each fader.
The onboard I/O provides eight mic/line inputs and four line outputs. Ruggedised etherCON and opticalCON connections link the frame to external racks that house the Tempest Engines and I/O. It works with all System T DSP engines (TE1, TE2, VTE, and legacy T25 or T80 engines) and the full SSL Network I/O range, plus third-party Dante, AES67 and ST 2110 devices.
Fader count can be extended with System T Remote Fader Tiles, and a Remote Master Tile adds dedicated monitor and main faders. Besides serving as a main desk, it suits a temporary second operator position or remote control of a main console. Flight cases are optional, so it can be built into road-ready cases.
