System T S500

The S500 is a configurable control surface in the System T range. It is assembled from touchscreen and hardware tiles that sit in a choice of console frames, optionally with a meter bridge. Every large-format S500 includes a Fader Tile, large multi-touch screens, a Channel Tile and a Master Tile. Frame layouts can add an intelligently switched screen bay, a dual fader bay or extra channel control bays, and the surface can be scaled for multi-operator use with individual monitoring.

Each Fader Tile carries 16 motorised 100 mm faders arranged in five layers with four banks per layer. Strips have level meters, status LEDs for dynamics, de-ess mode, dialogue automix and remote AFV or production automation, a three-line OLED, a quick encoder with three switches, and a Super-Q key for spilling a channel's destinations or a bus's contributors. The Channel Tile has a 7 inch touchscreen with push-switch encoders and buttons for the selected path. The Master Tile provides a focus fader, an assignable master fader, snapshot automation controls, ten mute groups, a monitoring section that supports two-person operation, four additional studio monitor sections and five assignable encoders.
