Mixed Format I/O
A family of Dante and AES67 network I/O units for SSL System T consoles. It covers analogue mic/line, bulk line-level, AES3 digital and GPIO interfacing, aimed at broadcast and live installations.

The Mixed Format I/O range has four units that connect analogue, AES3 digital and GPIO signals to Dante and AES67 based IP networks. The A16.D16 combines 16 line inputs, four of which have switchable SuperAnalogue mic circuits, with 16 line outputs, 16 digital channels in 8 AES3 pairs and four GPIO. The A32 provides 32 line inputs and 32 line outputs for bulk analogue conversion.
The D64 converts between 32 input/output pairs of AES3 and Dante. Its sample rate converters allow unlocked AES sources to be integrated. The GPIO 32 is a 2U unit with 32 GPIs and 32 GPOs for System T consoles. It transports GPIO across System T networks and suits custom user key panels or Audio Follow Video setups. It works with the console's Event Manager.
All four units have redundant power supplies and redundant network connections. On the A16.D16, A32 and D64, the Network B connection offers a future hardware upgrade path to direct SFP fibre. GPIO 32 can be controlled from the S500, S300, TCR and the remote Tempest Control App running software V2.0 or later.
