L550 Plus
The L550 Plus is a 96kHz digital live-sound console from the SSL Live range, with a 19-inch multi-touch screen, assignable hardware controls and built-in local I/O. It suits front-of-house and monitor mixing, including setups that run without stageboxes.

The L550 Plus is a digital live mixing console built around SSL's Optimal Core Processing. It offers 1136 inputs and 1136 outputs and 288 mix paths at 96kHz. Paths can be set up as channels, stem groups, auxes or masters, from mono up to 5.1, and every path has full processing. A 32 x 36 output matrix has its own processing and can be split into four smaller matrices.
Operation combines one 19" high-resolution multi-touch screen with assignable hardware controls and colour coding. The screen handles I/O configuration, the Layer Manager, automation, the Effects Rack and the Channel View and Console Overview. A tablet running the TaCo app, or extra screens connected to PCs running SOLSA, can add more touch control. Software V5.0 adds integrated control of Meyer Sound immersive systems via SpaceMap Go, alongside the existing L-ISA control, plus the Blitzer and Sorcerer processing tools.
Local I/O is built into the surface: 32 mic/line inputs, 32 line outputs, 4 headphone/monitor outputs, 8 AES/EBU pairs in and out, and MADI ports. Dante, Blacklight II and X-Light options extend connectivity to stageboxes and networks. Power supplies are redundant.
