L200 Plus

The L200 Plus is a compact member of the SSL Live range. It uses the Optimal Core Processing engine and offers 144 mix paths at 96 kHz, each a full processing path. Paths can be assigned as channels, stem groups, auxes or masters, and set up anywhere from mono (one path) to 5.1 (six paths). Insert effects have their own dedicated, dynamically allocated processing, and the console can handle up to 600 inputs and 600 outputs.

Local I/O is built into the control surface, so the console can work without stageboxes in a pure FOH role. It has 12 mic/line inputs, 2 talkback mic/line XLR inputs, 12 line outputs, 2 headphone/monitor outputs and 4 pairs each of AES/EBU in and out with sample rate conversion. Eight MADI ports (six coaxial pairs, two fibre pairs) can run independently or redundantly, plus a separate optical MADI FX loop for an external effects host.

Optional Blacklight II or X-Light connections give 256 bidirectional channels at 96 kHz to the stage, and an optional Dante card gives 32x32 channels at 96 kHz. The rear panel has MIDI, LTC, wordclock and GP I/O connectors, and a second redundant power supply is standard. It shares software, audio engine and remote I/O with the rest of the SSL Live range; Plus Processing Packs come pre-installed on new units.
